Hello GP-10 users, prepare to roll your eyes
Every time I've played live using my GP-10 I've used an amp model on the patch. The GP-10 then goes straight into a guitar amp which I've taken care to select a clean setting, but it still goes into the pre-amp as there is no effects input on the amps I use. However, If I want to use the gain settings (and amp footswitch) from the real guitar amp should I go into the GP-10 patch and turn off the 'Amp' emulator completely or just use a clean/ full range model?

I ask this because whenever I turn off the amp emulator in the GP-10 it gets very very quiet and I would hate to have to jack the volume up on the real guitar amp at the gig?

Thankyou in advance for the education :)

Redvers

Personally I would dial all my patches back so they were about the same level as a bypassed sound.

May r set the EQ flat but bring up the level? Either way it'll take some patience and a fair bit of tweaking. No way around that.
