As one of the few bassists here - VB99!  Although I do also have the VG99 since I also play guitar.  And GR55... V-Bass... two VB-8s.  All great!

I'd put the VG-8 here. As innovative as the VG-99 is, it built on the ground established by the VG-8. Before that, there was simply nothing else on the market like it. It kickstarted the whole modelling movement (and I am aware that the Yamaha VL-1 did come first).
