Magnificent songs. I had to grin when the presenter mentioned Steely Dan and headphones. I did indeed spend hours lying on the couch lost in a Dan record.

You Tube also has really crisp recordings of Steely Dan material (Aja and Royal Scam) with no lead singing, and I think no guitar solos. Incredible how good the songs sound even without the words and melodies. The horns really shine. What well constructed tracks! Even after all these years.
