I just saw this tip in the Godin LGXT manual:
http://www.godinguitars.com/lgxt.pdf

QuoteWhen all three outputs (13 pin, acoustic and electric) are used you can insert a dummy plug into the "guitar out" jack on the guitar synth to remove the guitar from the synth's stereo output
. Has anyone tried this? I dont even know what a dummy plug is. Is it this https://www.amazon.com/NEUTRIK-NDJ-DUMMY-PLUG-JACKS/dp/B011NMLEFS?

Hi there

I have the same problem with my Godin LGXT: when I turn the 3-way toggle switch down (only synth signal), the guitar signal from the PU / Piezzo comes through as with position 2 (middle).
I read about the dummy plug and once plugged a jack plug into the GR 55 "Guitar Out". Unfortunately it didn't work.  ???
Now I take from the post from Elantric that apparently not every plug is suitable?
The recommended "Switchcraft 285L - 1/4" Mono Cable Plug With Nickel Metal Handle "is unfortunately not available in Germany.
Maybe someone knows an alternative to the Switchcraft?
Or the difference between a plug that works and a plug that doesn't?
That would be great  ;D

Thank you and best regards ... Harry

Dummy plug connects the Godin, not the GR-55 Guitar out

best to post question on forum

Hello and thank you for reply :-)

I've posted the question here
https://www.vguitarforums.com/smf/index.php?topic=21307.0

At the same time I asked you, the specialist, via PM.
The answer now confuses me. The dummy in the guitar?
Probably the acoustic input, right?
Sorry, but I'm really a technical greenhorn.
Which leads me to the next question:
I have a
SPALT APEX 601 044 HK
(the first on this site)
https://www.spaltinstruments.com/instrument-gallery/hybrids/apex-guitars/
with
- Graph-Tech Ghost Piezo / MIDI saddles and preamps
- Sustainiac
- Fralin HO humbucker in bridge
- Noll midrange control
- ¼ "jack, 13-pin MIDI outputs
- Vol, Tone, 3-way switch magnetic

... so one output for the magnetic PU and a 13-pin output for the GR 55
Here, too, I have the problem that on position 3 of the selector switch (only magnetic / mix / only GR 55) I only ever get a mixed signal (magnetic PU AND GR 55).
It's not necessarily a broken leg, but it's a blemish.
Would you have a tip for me here?

Thank you and best regards :-)
