GP-10 - Guitar in and out question
« on: June 18, 2017, 08:33:26 AM »

Can the Analog Guitar in be routed through the FX Chain? In other words can the guitar in have effects assigned via the COSM effects

Sorry a bit of a stupid question. But I thought it did. But I can't figure out how.

Yes

Many use it as their "POD" FX/Amp /Cab sim for 1/4" input guitars

Next question is how. I looked at page 11 but there are a lot of settings there. Not sure what the path is.?

I am not connecting with the GK3 but the normal 1/4 inch from the the guitar. When I tried it it was just clean guitar out. I was using the Guitar Out jack.

And the Mono out didn't sound at all.

So here is my patch

Guitar 1/4 out to GP-10 Guitar in
GP-10 Guitar out to Mixer

What settings do I need to configure to connect the COSM guitars and FX?

Left and right output to mixer

Not guitar out , that's unprocessed guitar

One last thing I found by poking around. Set GK Setting to Auto or Off. I had mine set to GK and it ignored the Guitar Input jack.
